PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a wheel speed sensor P to a hub cap D, firmly and easily. SOLUTION: When the wheel speed sensor P is fitted into the hub cap D, a mounting part 13 is fitted into a U-shaped engaging piece 15, to position the wheel speed sensor P with respect to the hub cap D, allowing a through-hole 14 of the mounting part 13 and a hole 18 of the engaging piece 15 to be concentric. A rod-like pin 20 is inserted into the holes 18, 14 and is then rotated about its axis, to allow its retaining piece 21 to be engaged with a claw piece 17. The pin 20 and the holes 18, 14 are shaped in ellipses, having nearly the same sized cross sectional shape; through the rotation of the pin, the cross-sectional long axis direction of the pin 20 is directed in the cross-sectional short axis direction of the holes 14, 18, and through their length difference (diameter difference), the pin 20 is brought into press contact with (press fitted to) the holes 14, 18, allowing the wheel speed sensor P to be mounted firmly to the engaging piece 15 via the pin 20; and the pin 20 is locked through the engagement of the retaining piece 21 with the claw piece 17 and the wheel speed sensor P is mounted firmly to the hub cap D.
