PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve construction and maintenance efficiency of a waterproof door device. SOLUTION: An electric winch 17 and a manual winch 19 for displacing the waterproof door 4 up and down are arranged out of a pit 3, by which a need for arranging an elevating means inside the pit 3 provided underground is eliminated and the construction and maintenance efficiency of the waterproof door device 1 is improved. Further, since the pit 3 is provided underground, when the waterproof door 4 is housed in the pit 3, the waterproof door 4 is hidden underground, by which the landscape around the place where the waterproof door device 1 is installed is not spoiled largely.
