PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a modified polyolefin resin by which the resin can be continuously produced. SOLUTION: The method for producing a modified polyolefin resin includes steps of: supplying a polyolefin resin (A) in a block state and, with respect to 100 parts by weight of the polyolefin resin (A), 0.01 to 20 parts by weight of a compound (B) having at least one kind of unsaturated group (a) and at least one kind of polar group (b) and 0.001 to 10 parts by weight of an organic peroxide (C) into an extruder (I); and melting and kneading the polyolefin resin (A) with the compound (B) and the organic peroxide (C). The extruder (I) is equipped with a conical extruder and a single screw extruder and/or a parallel multi-screw extruder; and the polyolefin resin (A) is supplied to the conical extruder.
