The optical system has an entry aperture and an exit aperture. An optical path is provided for passage of optical radiation through the optical system. The optical system is provided with a device for bending the optical path between the entry aperture and exit aperture. The optical system has another optical element. An interchangeable mechanism is also provided, which is actuated for exchanging the former optical element with the latter optical element. The optical system is a magnification changer (1).
