摘要 <p>The method involves comparing values of a sequence of electrometer currents measured with different high voltage steps with a value of theoretically possible sequences that are generated based on statistically possible particle distributions. The theoretically possible sequences whose value differs from values of the measured sequences, are utilized for determining number of particles and particle size distribution in gases. The currents assigned to the high voltage steps and/or a position of an electrometer (5) are measured and stored for calibrating a particle size class. An independent claim is also included for a measuring device for determining number of particles and particle size distribution in gases by measuring electrical mobility of the particles.</p>
