Ruthenium- and osmium-carbene-complex catalysts (I), which are bonded with chiral carbon atoms or over one or more double bonds at a catalyst base skeleton, are new. Ruthenium- and osmium-carbene-complex catalysts of formula (I), which are bonded with chiral carbon atoms or over one or more double bonds at a catalyst base skeleton, is new.
