The method involves closing dry blasting agent (2) by air flow from the inner walls (4) of a channel system (1), where the dry blasting agent comprises plastic granule, which is thermosetting polymer. The dry blasting agent is hurled by unevenly stochastic sharp-edged granulate particles from a nozzle head (3) against the inner walls of the duct system under simultaneous movement of the nozzle head in longitudinal direction during rotation of an outlet of the nozzle head. An independent claim is also included for a channel system cleaning device comprising a compressor.
