<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control circuit for electronic equipment which controls the power that covers the operation of a step-up/step-down circuit, in an electronic device itself which operates with the power stepped-up or stepped-down by the step-up/step-down circuit. <P>SOLUTION: When starting the electronic device, a power switch outputs a trigger signal that outputs ON signals continuously to the control terminal of the step-up/step-down circuit for the first time, until at least the determination of the continuous operation is made for the started electronic device, and the started electronic device outputs ON signals continuously to the control terminal of the step-up/step-down circuit in the case the continuous operation of the electronic device is determined. Even if there arises a reason that disables continuous operation and the started electronic device stops the operation of the step-up/step-down circuit, the entire power control circuit as a whole returns to the operation stop state, before it outputs the trigger signal; and thereby it can restart the electronic device, by outputting the trigger signal from an electronic switch after the reason is removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
