<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate having excellent durability in both of moisture resistance and heat resistance, and in which the generation of knick is suppressed as well, and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: In a polarizing plate, protective films are laminated on both sides of a polarizer via an adhesive. The polarizer comprises a polyvinyl alcohol based resin comprising iodine, and also contains zinc. The protective film comprises a (meta)acrylic based resin at least having a lactone ring structure. The adhesive comprises: a polyvinyl alcohol based resin; a cross-linking agent; and metal compound colloid with the average particle diameter of 1 to 100 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
