<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a myocardial cell culture support for obtaining a myocardial cell having controlled pulsation orientation properties so as to be usable in a myocardial regenerative therapy and to provide a method for producing the myocardial cell culture support. <P>SOLUTION: The myocardial cell culture support has a layer of a cured polymerizable liquid crystal having molecular orientation on the surface. The method for producing the myocardial cell culture support comprises a step of coating the top surface of a substrate having an orientation ability with a coating liquid containing a polymerizable liquid crystal and forming a coated film, a step of orientating the polymerizable liquid crystal contained in the coated film and changing the polymerizable liquid crystal into a liquid crystal phase state and a step of irradiating the coated film with ionizing radiation or ultraviolet light, polymerizing the polymerizable liquid crystal kept in the liquid crystal phase state, thereby curing the polymerizable liquid crystal and forming the layer of the cured polymerizable liquid crystal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
