PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensor capable of preventing accumulation of water on a pressure detection surface of a sensor element, when used under a watery environment. SOLUTION: This pressure sensor 1 includes a sensing element 40 exposing a side end surface including the pressure detection surface, for detecting air pressure in contact with the pressure detection surface; and an introduction passage 110 for communicating the pressure detection surface of the sensing element 40 with an introduction port 100 opened to a pressure detection space. The introduction passage 110 includes the first introduction passage 111 extending just downward from the side end surface of the sensing element 40. The introduction port 100 is positioned on the lower end of the first introduction passage 111 or on the furthermore lower part than the lower end. The pressure sensor 1 also includes a water preventing plate 63 in the whole range connecting linearly the side end surface of the sensing element 40 to the introduction port 100 in the first introduction passage 111.
