PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens drive mechanism which can correct coma aberrations in a simple configuration. SOLUTION: An object lens unit 1 of an optical pickup of an optical disk player has supports 14 movably supporting a lens holder 13, a first coilα(=153a, 153b) having a function of an electromagnet being supplied with power through the supports 14, a second coilβ(=153c, 153d) having a function of an electromagnet being supplied with power through the supports 14, and a pair of permanent magnets 17 to move the lens holder 13 by giving the electromagnetic force matching the electric current to the first and second coilsα,β. A DSP of the optical disk player has a second drive section to turn the lens holder 13 in the tangential direction (W2 direction) around the X axis by applying predetermined second DC voltages with different polarity to each other to the first and second coilsα,β.
