PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the optimal display content of taking into consideration the relationship between one's own vehicle and a rear vehicle, when informing a driver that output of the one's own vehicle falls within a recommendable output range for performing energy-saving operation. SOLUTION: An indicator 12 is provided with an ECO display area 26 indicating that the output of the one's own vehicle falls within the recommendable output range for performing the energy-saving operation. A control circuit 14 sets a maximum threshold value T of the recommendable output range to a first maximum threshold value T1 by becoming a maximum threshold value ordinary mode when determining that an inter-vehicle distance between the one's own vehicle and the rear vehicle is less than a reference valueα. Meanwhile, the control circuit 14 sets the maximum threshold value T of the recommendable output range to a second maximum threshold value T2 smaller than the first maximum threshold value T1 by becoming a maximum threshold value small mode when determining that the inter-vehicle distance between the one's own vehicle and the rear vehicle is the reference valueαor more.
