PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mat board for displays and an article packing method and an article package, which are capable of suppressing a transportation cost low, reducing the possibility of damage of articles and mat boards during the transportation, and eliminating complicated work when displaying in stores. SOLUTION: This mat board 1 for display includes a plurality of mountain-fold lines 2 for making mountain folds, and a plurality of valley-fold lines 3 for making valley folds on a surface side where articles are fixed, in the horizontal direction when being suspended. This article packing method includes a step for folding the mat board into the mountain folds and valley folds on the surface side where the articles are fixed, and a step for fixing the articles to the mat board and superposing and packing the plurality of fixed articles.
