The device (1) has a rotor housing (6), provided in a bearing retainer (3), for accommodating a spin rotor (2). A cover element (9) closes an opening (7) of the housing and contains a yarn outlet nozzle (19) projecting into the spin rotor. A limiting surface (25) is attached to the cover element and defines a position of the nozzle in a direction of the rotor. The limiting surface is arranged at a limiting component (30) in the cover element, where the component is made of plastic. The limiting surface rests at a pin (24) arranged at the bearing retainer in a closed condition.
