<p>There is disclosed cam operated power tool (5). The invention provides a tool (5) comprising a cam track (A) and cam follower means (B), wherein the cam track (A) has first and second opposing walls (D, E) ' and at least the first wall (D) has a plurality of spaced first teeth (TD). The second wall (E) has a plurality of spaced second teeth (TE). The cam track (A) is circumferentially provided on a cam cylinder (F). The/each second tooth (TE) is provided circumf erentially offset from or between respective adjacent first teeth (TD). Each first and/or second tooth (TD, TE) has a cam follower acceleration or throw portion, and between adjacent first and/or second teeth (TO, TE) there is provided a cam follower deceleration or catch portion (H).</p> |
