<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for driving an auxiliary machinery capable of improving durability of a clutch which connects/disconnects driving force transmission to an auxiliary machinery. <P>SOLUTION: This auxiliary machinery drive system includes an air compressor 16 driven by transmitting a driving force of a motor 2, an electromagnetic clutch 12 which can switch between a connection state to transmit the driving force from the motor 2 to the air compressor 16 and a cut-off state to cut off driving force transmission from the motor 2 to the air compressor 16, and a power steering pump 8 which is driven by transmitting the driving force of the motor 2 without being cut off. A control unit 4 selectively switches the electromagnetic clutch 12 to either of the connection state or the cut-off state corresponding to whether operation of the air compressor 16 is required or not. When switching the electromagnetic clutch 12 from the cut-off state to the connection state while the motor 2 is running, the cycle of the motor 2 is regulated to a predetermined rotational speed allowable to the power steering pump 8, thus switching the electromagnetic clutch 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
