<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power monitoring system where connections within a distribution panel are simplified more than conventional, while it enables power information to be monitored separately for each branch breaker. <P>SOLUTION: The branch breaker 3 has a monitoring section, which generates power information by monitoring the supply power to a load circuit, a core 21, which is magnetically coupled with a power wire 2, a signal conductor 22, which is wound on the core 21, and a communicating section 23, which transmits power information to a measuring unit 4, using a PLC signal superposed on the power line via a core 21 from the signal conductor 22, by power line communication utilizing the power line 2 as a transmission path. The power line 2 has an internal electric path 24 led into the branch breaker 3, and the core 21 is made in an annular form, and it is magnetically coupled with the power line 2 by each internal electric path 24 being threaded thereto. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
