<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine capable of improving response of intake air quantity during at a time of acceleration in the internal combustion engine provided with a throttle valve. <P>SOLUTION: The control device applied to an internal combustion engine 1 provided with the throttle valve 11 in an intake air passage 3 includes a first cylinder 21 having a first piston 23 inserted therein and a second cylinder 22 having a second piston 27 operating in conjunction with the first piston 23 inserted therein, and is provided with an air compression device 20 generating compressed air in pressurized chambers 28A, 28B formed in the second cylinder 22 by using vacuum generated in the intake air passage 3. Compressed air is generated in the pressurized chambers 28A, 28B during deceleration of the internal combustion engine 1 and the compressed air in the pressurized chambers 28A, 28B is introduced into the intake air passage 3 at the time of acceleration of the internal combustion engine 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
