<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent scattering or flying of toner when detaching a toner cartridge from a development cartridge, by a simple shutter mechanism, in a structure in which the toner cartridge is separated vertically relative to the development cartridge and a toner supply pipe. <P>SOLUTION: A toner discharge mechanism section 60 disposed in a side wall 52 of a toner storage 51 of a toner cartridge 5 includes: a toner main body 61 having a first toner discharge port 62 at its lower part; and a rotary shutter section 63 rotatably fitted on the toner main body 61 and having a second toner discharge port 64 in its peripheral face. On the development cartridge 8, a fitting hold part 81 with its upper part opened for holding the rotary shutter section 63 is provided. The toner discharge mechanism section 60 is fitted in the fitting hold part 81 from above. Thereby, the rotary shutter section 63 is rotated by rack and pinion mechanisms 62 and 84, and the second toner discharge port 64 rotates to the first discharge port 62. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
