<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm controller by which a desired diaphragm value is obtained, and a camera. <P>SOLUTION: By driving a diaphragm driving lever 403 by a stepping motor 411, a diaphragm lever 402 abutting on the lens-side diaphragm lever 3 of a photographic lens 2 is turned. Thus, a gear train need not be braked by engaging a locking claw with the ratchet gear of the gear train as in the conventional diaphragm mechanism, the stop phase of the gear train is prevented from being shifted by abutting of the locking claw on the thread ridge part of the ratchet gear, thereby obtaining the desired diaphragm value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
