PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further suppress enhancement processing with respect to noise component compared with a conventional manner, and also to perform the sufficient enhancement processing with respect to an input image with less noise component. SOLUTION: A video signal processor includes: a noise reduction processing part 11 for performing noise reduction processing with respect to an input video signal Vi; a noise reduction amount detecting part 12 for detecting a noise reduction amount which indicates the degree of the noise reduction processing; a remaining noise amount detecting part 13 for detecting a remaining noise amount remaining in the video signal Vi' after the noise reduction processing; an enhancement amount determining part 21 for determining an enhancement amount, which indicates the degree of the enhancement processing, based on at least the noise reduction amount between the noise reduction amount and the remaining noise amount; and an enhancement processing part 22 for performing the enhancement processing with respect to the video signal Vi' after the noise reduction processing, based on the enhancement amount determined by the enhancement amount determining part 21.
