PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid filled type vibration absorbing device capable of effectively exhibiting intended vibration absorbing effects when vibration absorption target vibration is inputted and avoiding noise and vibration which might be caused by negative pressure in a pressure receiving chamber when an impulsive large load is inputted and having a new structure. SOLUTION: A communication hole 88 bent at a right angle from one end of an orifice passage 92 and opened toward the pressure receiving chamber 84 is formed so that the one end of the orifice passage 92 communicates with the pressure receiving chamber 84 via the communication hole 88. By this structure, a dead water region 95 is formed in the connection corner of the orifice passage 92 and the communication hole 88. One face of a bottom wall 96 constituting the wall of the dead water region 95 is made to directly face the pressure receiving chamber 84 via the communication hole 88, and the other face is exposed to an equilibrium chamber 86. In addition, a short-circuit hole 97 having a smaller cross section than those of the orifice passage 92 and the communication hole 88 is formed at the bottom wall 96, and the both chambers 84, 85 communicate with each other through the short-circuit hole 97 in the dead water region 95 of the orifice passage 92.
