PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic band gap structure for blocking the transfer of a signal of a predetermined frequency bandwidth with an electromagnetic band gap structure having a specific structure and a printed-circuit substrate containing the same. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic band gap structure 200 includes a dielectric layer, a plurality of conductive plates 210, and a stitching via 230 for electrically connecting the conductive plates.
