PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and effective means for controlling termites. SOLUTION: The method for controlling termites comprises arranging a sheet-shaped material coated with or kneaded with a hardly evaporating termite-repelling agent on a building member such as the inner/outer surface of the foundation and/or a wooden part surface under floor of a building, to control termites, as a worming-up-preventing or a leading guide by the repelling effects.
