The invention relates to electrical engineering. The aim of the invention is to simplify an electric bulb replacement and to reduce traumatism. For this purpose, a device for securing the electric bulb cap is designed in the form of a clamp which is made of a dielectric elastic material and tightly embraces the bulb cap. When electric bulb (5) is placed in the lamp socket (6), the electric bulb cap (7) is freely inserted into the bore thereof and the lower contact (8) of the electric bulb presses against the contact (8) of the lamp socket (9) placed on a retainer. The retainer (2) releases the clamp (1). The electric bulb cap is embraced by the lamp socket clamp. A contact (10) on the embracing section of the clamp (1) is pressed against the bulb cap. The contact (9) of the lamp socket is pressed against the lower contact (8) of the electric bulb by the elastic force of the retainer reinforcing spring. In order to remove the bulb from the lamp socket, it is necessary to press together the end of arms (11). The embracing section of the clamp releases the lamp cap from fixed position. The contact (10) of the lamp socket returns to the initial state. The retainer (2) pushes the electric bulb (5) out from the socket (6). The retainer takes the initial position. Once the force has been removed from the arms (11), the ends of the clamp (1) are pressed against the retainer. Said invention provides the size of the clamp opening which is required for the free insertion of the bulb cap. |
