A traffic safety barrier is provided to maximize the durability whereby a sanding layer for reinforcement is included in the inner side of the barrier plate. A traffic safety barrier comprises a barrier body(10) vertically on the ground surface, a barrier plate(20) having a cross section of fixed curvature and rolled on a winding shaft(21), a slot(11) formed on the barrier body in order to draw out the barrier plate, and a drive roller(31) which is driven forward/reversely by a drive motor(30) which controls in/out of the barrier plate. The slot and the drive roller have the same curvature as the barrier plate.
