HOLLOW INNER CONDUCTOR CONTACT FOR COAXIAL CABLE CONNECTOR

A hollow inner conductor contact for a coaxial cable connector is provided to secure electric connection while reducing material costs and weight of a coaxial cable in an aluminium inner conductor of a hollow and avoiding direct contact of hetero metals or aluminium oxide. An inner contact of a coaxial cable connector having an interface end(3) and a cable end(5) is connected to an outer diameter surface through a spring contact(13) adjacent to the cable end. A spring contact comprises spring fingers(17) and a spring basket(15). A protrusion(19) includes a corner edge of the interface end to insert the spring fingers into an external diameter surface of an inner conductor easily. The protrusion is adjacent to the cable end having an angled edge facing the cable end. The protrusion operates as a barb for preventing removal after the protrusion is inserted into the external diameter surface of the inner conductor.
