<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor, an information processing method, and a program, capable of providing a listener with more natural sound with concert-hall presence in various playback states of music. <P>SOLUTION: An information processor 10 for playing back a content is provided. The information processor 10 includes a playback par 11 for playing back a content, a sound image localization processing part 14 for subjecting the content played back by the playback part 11 to sound image localization processing so that a sound image of the content is localized in an arbitrary localization position, and a control part 17 for moving the localization position of the sound image in accordance with changes in playback state of the content by the playback part 11.
