<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell vehicle capable of continuously running from the power of a battery, even if a time required for start-up of the fuel cell exceeds the projected time. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell vehicle 1 is provided with a residual start-up time estimating section 23 for estimating a residual start-up time required until the completion of start-up of the fuel cell 10; and a motor power consumption limiting section 25 for limiting the power consumption of the motor, when the vehicle runs on the battery power. When the running time on battery is not more than the estimated residual start-up time, the motor power consumption limiting section 25 limits the power of the motor 4 at a first battery running power limiting value, set giving priority to driving performance; and when the battery running time exceeds the estimated residual start-up time, the motor power consumption limiting section 25 limits the power consumption of the motor at a second battery running power limiting value smaller than the first battery running power limit value set giving priority to a time allowing the vehicle to run. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
