<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat-shape nonaqueous electrolytic liquid secondary battery having superior load characteristics and charge and discharge cycle characteristics for a long period. <P>SOLUTION: The flat-shape nonaqueous electrolytic liquid secondary battery has: an electrode body that has a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator in a sealed space in which a sealing plate is inserted and engaged with an opening part of an outer package can through a gasket and the opening end part of the outer package can is formed by being tightened inward; and a non-aqueous electrolytic liquid.
