<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To settle the data amount of digital contents to be transmitted to a mobile phone 1 within the capacity of a reception memory of the mobile phone 1. <P>SOLUTION: Digital contents in response to a request from the mobile phone 1 are found out of a content database 4. If the data amount of the digital contents is greater than the capacity of a reception memory of the mobile phone 1, the allocation amount of irreversibly compressed data is determined so as to be a data amount excluding non-compressed data and reversibly compressed data from the capacity of the reception memory of the mobile phone 1 in the digital contents.
