摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To read imaged image data, with high sensitivity and at a high frame rate, from a solid-state imaging element in which a plurality of luminance detection pixels and a plurality of color detection pixels are provided while being mixed. SOLUTION: In driving a solid-state imaging element including a configuration wherein a plurality of color detection pixels (R, G, B) and a plurality of luminance detection pixels (W) are arranged and formed in a two-dimensional array form on a surface of a semiconductor substrate while being mixed and detection signals of the color detection pixels (R, G. B) and detection signals of luminance detection pixels (W) are read out separately, a first time from exposure start of the color detection pixels (R, G, B) till signal read and a second time from the exposure start of the luminance detection pixels (W) till signal read are controlled separately.
