PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detachable mechanism for a monitor, capable of attaching the monitor to a monitor support base with one-touch and attaching the monitor to the monitor support base by locking at upper/lower and right/left portions. SOLUTION: This is the monitor detachable mechanism for attaching the monitor to the monitor support base so as to be detachable by making an attaching plate detachable from a stopping plate for the attaching plate which is fixed at either of the monitor or the monitor support base, and the stopping plate which is fixed at the other. In the attaching plate attached to the stopping plate, a lock claw of a lock plate advances and locks at a stop hole provided at a side wall of the attaching plate by rotation of the lock plate in a normal direction, the lock claw of the lock plate retreats from the stop hole provided at the side wall of the attaching plate by rotation in the reverse direction, thus releasing lock.
