PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk player capable of surely adjusting motive force switching between a disk conveying mechanism and a pickup feed mechanism to the timing of fixing/releasing a pickup. SOLUTION: The disk player is constituted so that two cam surfaces 15-a and 16-a are disposed in one cam gear G9, while a motive force switching lever 9 for switching a motive force between the disk conveying mechanism and the pickup feed mechanism is abutted on one cam surface 15-a, and a lock lever 11 for holding the pickup 12 in its initial position is abutted on the other cam surface 16-a.
