PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin receiving and dispensing machine reducing the time for checking. SOLUTION: Each of denomination-based storage/dispensing sections 27a includes: a first storage section 51 for accepting coins deposited and selected/sorted by denomination; a second storage section 52 for storing coins separately from the first storage section 51; a first conveyance means 53 for conveying coins stored in the first storage section 51; a rotary disc 56 for accepting coins to be conveyed by the first conveyance means 53; a separation/dispensing section 58 for dispensing each coin moving to the outside with the centrifugal force of the rotary disc 56; a discrimination means 61 for discriminating denomination and counting coins separated by the separation/dispensing section 58; a coin distribution means 62 for selectively distributing coins discriminated and counted by the discrimination means 61 to a money output port and the second storage section 52; and a second conveyance means 52B for conveying the coins stored in the second storage section 52 to the first storage section 51.
