PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporarily fixing method of a glass member at the time of its processing and an adhesive composition for glass members suitable for the method. SOLUTION: The adhesive composition for glass members comprises (A) a (meth)acrylate bearing at least one (meth)acryloyl group at its molecular end or in the side chain and having a molecular weight of at least 500, (B) a polyfunctional (meth)acrylate, (C) a (meth)acrylate other than (A) and (B), and (D) a photopolymerization initiator. The adhesive composition for glass members comprises at least one selected from the group consisting of polybutadiene, polyisoprene and hydrogenates of these two as the component (A). The composition comprises components (A), (B) and (C) each hydrophobic. The temporarily fixing method of glass members comprises temporarily adhesively fixing a glass member using the adhesive composition, processing the temporarily fixed glass member, and subsequently immersing the processed glass member in warm water of 90°C or lower and removing a cured product of the composition.
