PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patch comprising a hydrophilic base agent having basic physical properties such as adhesiveness to the skin and shape retainability and efficient medicine releasability. SOLUTION: Provided is the patch prepared by disposing, on a support, an aqueous gel paste which contains a patch base agent and an endermic medicine or cosmetic ingredient, wherein the patch base agent comprises (a) one or more water-soluble copolymers in which 20 to 60 mol% of acids are neutralized, and which are fine powder, and contain unreacted monomers in an amount of≤0.5 mass%, (b) a polyhydric alcohol, (c) a polyvalent metal compound, (d) a surfactant, and (e) water. The water-soluble copolymers are prepared by polymerizing a monomer mixture comprising 1 to 30 mol% of one or more monomers selected from 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid and/or its salt, styrene sulfonic acid and/or its salt, and N-vinylpyrrolidone, 70 to 99 mol% of acrylic acid and/or its salt, and 0 to 10 mol% of one or more other copolymerizable monomers.
