<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a wake-up alarm during REM sleep closest to a wake-up time and to reduce power requirements. <P>SOLUTION: A detection circuit 111 detects the body movement of a user and outputs a body movement signal corresponding thereto. A CPU 105 calculates the starting time of the detection of REM sleep on the basis of a wake-up time set in a storage means 110 and performs time measuring by counting signals generated by an oscillation means 106. The CPU 105 determines whether REM sleep has been detected on the basis of the body movement signal from the detection signal 111 and, when it has determined that the present REM sleep is one closest to the wake-up time set in the storage means 110, it allows a notification means 108 to give a wake-up alarm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
