<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial turf replacing method allowing a removed artificial turf to be recycled actually and reducing labor, time and costs for transporting the removed artificial turf, and an artificial turf processing apparatus suitable for the method. <P>SOLUTION: An existing artificial turf filled with a filler is removed from an artificial turf laid surface, and the removed artificial turf is processed by a mobile artificial turf processing apparatus disposed in the vicinity of the artificial turf laid surface. The artificial turf processing apparatus comprises a single spindle type crusher 11 mounted on a platform 10 of a large truck for crushing the artificial turf, a centrifugal separator 12 for separating the crushed artificial turf main body and the filler from each other and a belt type drier 13 for drying the filler. Because the filler is recovered from the artificial turf in the vicinity of the artificial turf laid surface, the labor, time and costs for transporting the artificial turf to a crushing plant or a disposal site can be reduced. Because the filler to be used in the newly laid artificial turf can be promptly obtained by recovering the filler from the artificial turf in the vicinity of the laid surface, the period of artificial turf replacement work can be shortened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
