<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to recognize whether a network A or a network B has a trouble when a communication failure occurs, in a system where a video reception terminal is connected to a server via the network A, through a router connected in the network B. <P>SOLUTION: Upon detecting a missing packet in a data stream (RTP packet) from the server 300, the router 100 forms a packet having information indicating that it is a missing packet to compensate the missing packet, and transmits the RTP packet to the video reception terminal. The video reception terminal 200 analyzes the RTP packet received from the router 100, thereby differently deciding whether the missing packet analyzed/detected is the one generated between the server 300 and the router 100 or between the router 100 and the video reception terminal 200. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
