PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid supply device which can make a printing material long-lived by reducing damage to be inflicted to the printing material to the maximum possible extent during supplying a liquid. SOLUTION: A screen printing unit 20e is structurally designed as follows: a rotary screen device 200 is provided which has a cylindrical screen 202 which is rotatably supported so as to come into contact with a rotatable impression cylinder 100, and also, has numerous small holes 202aa, formed in the peripheral surface, plugged with a photosensitive material 202b, with the capability of supplying a special ink 2 stored inside to a leaf 1 retained on the outer peripheral surface of the impression cylinder 100, correspondingly with a pictorial pattern. In order to achieve the supply of the special ink 2, the photosensitive material 202b of the small holes 202aa located at spots corresponding to the pictorial pattern, is removed. In addition, the small hole 202a are formed in the screen 202 only to its circumferential extent La between a position corresponding to the downstream end part of the leaf 1 in the conveyance direction and a position corresponding to the upstream end part of this sheet-like material in the conveyance direction.
