PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite panel for outside insulation, capable of being also applied to either of an outside insulation method in which the composite panel is used by being mounted on the exterior wall surface of concrete and an outside insulation method in which the composite panel can be used as a form, in common capable of bringing about the high supporting strength of an external facing material etc., and capable of securing the property of ventilation between panels in a joint portion; and to provide a joint structure using the composite panel. SOLUTION: This composite panel 10 for outside insulation comprises a heat insulating board 11 of a rigid foamed plastic, and an external facing substrate material 12 which is provided on the outdoor-side surface of the heat insulating board 11. Thus, the supporting strength of the external facing substrate material 12 can be increased. The ventilation properties are vertically secured by a plurality of vertical ventilation grooves 13 along a vertical direction on the outdoor-side surface of the heat insulating board 11, and at least one upper horizontal ventilation groove 14 and at least one lower horizontal ventilation groove 14 along the horizontal direction on the inside with respect to upper and lower ends. The ventilation properties are secured by the horizontal ventilation groove 14 on the inside of the vertical ventilation groove 13, even if an upper end of the vertical ventilation groove 13 is closed. Additionally, the ventilability can be secured by leaving at least either of the horizontal ventilation grooves 14, even if the vertical dimension of the panel 10 and the like have to be adjusted in construction.
