PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic waxing device and an automatic waxing method. SOLUTION: This automatic waxing device includes a moving gate-type module, at least one waxing module and a control module. The moving gate-type module includes a gate-type structure movable relative to a vehicle. The waxing module arranged in the gate-type structure includes a wax supply portion and a waxing portion. The control module is connected to the gate-type structure, the wax supply portion and the waxing portion. The control module decides a movement route of the gate-type structure, a waxing route of the wax supply portion and a polishing route of the waxing portion relative to the vehicle based on information about the vehicle.
