A tubular package comprising a filling matter (A); a tubular base material film (B) consisting of a film of polyvinylidene chloride resin, filled with the filling matter by binding up and sealing both edge portions thereof in the longitudinal direction; and a reinforcing tape (C) consisting of a film of polyvinylidene chloride resin, fusion boded to the base material film so as to wind around and cover the portion of the base material film bound up and sealed. In the tubular package, the reinforcing tape before fusion bonding has a thermal shrinkage ratio (RB) of 10 to 27% in the longitudinal direction thereof and has a tensile secant modulus of elasticity (EB) of 250 to 450 MPa in the longitudinal direction thereof.
