The terminal (3) has a plurality of buffers and can buffer in advance data on the content at the position of the jump destination to which a jump may be performed upon jump reproduction, in the plurality of buffers. As a result, when a jump reproduction is requested, the terminal (3) can start reproduction from the jump destination without a delay since the data on the jump destination is already buffered.
