<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor element controller capable of properly controlling a semiconductor element to be controlled even when power supply voltage decreases. <P>SOLUTION: A voltage providing circuit 18 compares a power supply voltage Vcc with a predetermined threshold voltage Vth. If Vcc≤Vth, the circuit 18 provides a virtual ground voltage Vcp as a voltage near a ground level to a ground side terminal of a pre-drive circuit 2, and if Vcc>Vth, the circuit 18 provides a difference voltage between the power supply voltage Vcc and a clamp control voltage Vgs to the ground side terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
