<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment for detecting target which enables improvement in target detection performance. <P>SOLUTION: A radio wave is transmitted toward a target by an antenna unit 1 in a period, set beforehand, and the radio wave reflected by the target is received. A reception signal is subjected to frequency conversion by an exciting/receiving unit 2 and digitally converted via a signal control circuit 3. The digitally converted reception signal is converted into a frequency spectrum by an FFT processing by a signal processing circuit 4. The signal processing circuit 4 detects the target, by comparing the maximum signal strength in the frequency spectrum obtained by the conversion with a target detection level determined beforehand. When the maximum signal strength determined as being below the target detection level in this detection, the signal intensity of a frequency adjacent to the maximum signal intensity is added to the maximum signal intensity, and when the added signal intensity is determined as exceeding the target detection level, the target is detected, based on the frequency having the maximum signal intensity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
