PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack, which is excellent on an external appearance and its quality, capable of suitably fitting a frame-side section separating an external frame and thinning, by shortening the dimensions in the battery-thickness direction of the external frame. SOLUTION: The battery pack 1 has a base battery 2, and a first external-frame half body 9 and a second external-frame half body 10 for covering four sides of the basic battery 2. The first external-frame half body 9 is buried in one side of the base battery 2, the second external-frame half body 10 is buried in the other side of the base battery 2, and the first external-frame half body 9 and the second external-frame half body 10 are integrated by locking a jointing section 9d and a jointing section 10c. The jointing sections 9d, 10c have expansion sections that expand from the ends of side-coated sections 9b, 10b in the battery-thickness direction, to the other end of the side coated sections 10b, 9b, and a projection section, projected from an end to the center of the expansion section in the battery-thickness direction.
