PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a FIFO storage method that allows resuming the out process of FIFO if data words have been read or written before. SOLUTION: Data streams are distributed to a plurality of independent branch passages and the individual branch passages are subsequently integrated into one data stream. In this case, the individual data streams are reintegrated in the order that is correct in terms of time.
